• Meet increasing sales demand for surgical kit
• Design a wrap band that would allow automation of existing hand line

Solution

• Label Gallery and ConMed designed a band that would create balance for automation
• New equipment was invented and added to the press to ensure tight tolerance
• The bands are now cut individually and packaged to ensure uniformity

Benefits

• The packaging line is now automated, able to meet demand
• New bands have been introduced
• Hand line is now available for other uses
